Subsystems brainstormed and weighed the pros and cons of each design.
The chassis subsystem began prototyping with laser-cut power pods, and mock-ups take shape.Students present their manipulator ideas to the team with the help of their subsystem mentors.Students, supervised by a mentor, finish building our field elements so we can practice driving and visualize the actual sizes of the pieces we need to navigate in this year’s game.Students and mentors visualize the motion required for climbing the habitat using our robot from the 2016 game Stronghold.
