As we come to the end of week three, the robot is coming together!
The programmers have been typing away in their corner, writing code for autonomous and tele-op, giving them an opportunity to leave Easter Eggs for future generations.
The electronics team was hard at work putting together the control board for the proto bot.
The collector is making the transition from wood to aluminum.
All the original kinks have been worked out of the lifter, and we’re moving to a fully operational prototype.
And some chassis members are learning how to weld.
In addition to the robot, we are working on our pit,
creating a brochure to represent all of the robotics teams in Anacortes,
and we attended the “Innovation Expo” organized by our school district to promote STEM in the community. Our superintendent even tried his hand at the robot controls with surprising success!
