Students Caiden and Liam participated in the annual Anacortes Waterfront Festival by demonstrating their robot and presenting about the team and the FTC program at their booth. The Anacortes Waterfront Festival is a large community event where many organizations, such as Soroptimist and Kiwanis, and vendors come together to celebrate Anacortes’ culture and history. The team’s booth displayed the robot, the Engineering Notebooks, the 2019 Pasteur Interleague Think Award, and the Mechanical Minks team cabinet. Caiden and Liam took turns driving the robot around at the team’s booth to demonstrate the robot’s abilities, and they answered questions about the team and the robotics program.
