Our build and competition season begins Sept 2023. We’d love for you to join our team! Students will have opportunities to learn coding, mechanical engineering, technical documentation, community outreach, public speaking, social media presence and website management.

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is one of the FIRST progression of programs for hands-on STEM education ages 6-18. We focus on students grades 8 – 12.
The national FIRST organization develops the program; FIRST Washington (FIRST WA) operates the program in our region.

The Mechanical Minks are proud to represent the Anacortes School District. Many of our team members come from Anacortes High School or Anacortes Middle School; we also welcome homeschool students.
