Coach Jenkins organized a local season kickoff event in Anacortes for FTC students and mentors alike to attend to celebrate the start of the SkyStone season. Students Caiden, Drew, Ethan, Liam, Riley, and Will attended and mentor Rick Johnson attended as well. The team watched the game reveal video and read the second game manual together to learn more about the new game, its rules, and its scoring system. After everyone finished reading the rules, the team participated in a deep and thorough discussion about potential strategies, robot designs, and the scoring system.
