    AFR at the WVM Vintage Motorcycle Show

    Anacortes FIRST Robotics (ARBC and the AHS Robotics Club) will be fundraising (selling soda and snacks) as well as doing robot demos to increase interest in FIRST Robotics in Whatcom and Skagit Counties.  The Washington Vintage Motorcyclist’s will be showing vintage motorcycles – marvels of mechanical engineering.  Adults are only $10 (cash only) at the door; kids under 15 are free.  The show happens rain or shine – check out the WVM’s event details at: https://washingtonvintagemotorcyclists.org.  Last year’s show featured a 1918 Excelsior motorcycle as the oldest at the show, with over 100 other  vintage bikes.  Take a ride to Lynden and see the show!

    AFR at the Anacortes Waterfront Festival

    Anacortes FIRST Robotics will be in the Channel of Discovery at the Anacortes Waterfront Festival on Saturday June 6th and Sunday June 7th (rain or shine, but it almost always shines!).  This free-admission event is fun for the whole family, with boat rides, boat building, commercial and arts vendors, car shows on both days, live music performances, free giant carnival slide, and more.  Visit the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce event page for more details.
