Anacortes FIRST Robotics (AFR) will be at Island View’s Science at Work event with robot demonstrations to entertain and educate students. This is a direct outreach event that can help students and parents learn about FIRST robotics team opportunities here in Anacortes! All ARBC-supported teams (FLL Explore, FLL Challenge, and FIRST Tech Challenge) are invited to come on out and help. Please coordinate with the FLL Director (Rachael Pletenik) if your FLL Explore/Challenge team would like to participate. Bring your project, tri-fold, and robot (if you have one) to show off! If you are participating with Anacortes FIRST Robotics, you’ll need to arrive 30 minutes prior to the posted start time of 5:30 pm in order to get set up.
