The Anacortes Robotics Booster Club (ARBC) formed in 2009 in order to support FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Team 3238 at Anacortes High School under the leadership of Curt Oppel, Joe Furin, and Rick Johnson.
ARBC has since expanded to bring the benefits of the FIRST progression of programs from elementary school through high school ages for students in public, private, and home school settings, or in neighborhoods or other community groups.
ARBC is governed by a Board of Directors as recommended by the Washington State Booster Club Association (WSBCA). Our general membership consists of all parents with students participating on an ARBC-supported FIRST team, along with other interested community members.
Our all-volunteer force relies on individuals who donate time supporting specific events (from a couple of hours to several days), coaching/ mentoring teams for a season, or taking on ARBC governance responsibilities for a year at a time.

We connect individuals and organizations who want to participate in and/or support FIRST robotics hands-on STEM education opportunities for students in the Anacortes School District. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we accept donations to provide financial and material support to teams we sponsor.
