Anacortes FTC Team(s)

We are an ASB Club that meets at Anacortes High School. We accept students that attend AHS, AMS (8th grade), Cap Sante HS, or are homeschooled. We form one or two FTC Competition teams, depending on the number of students who join. No experience necessary.

Students build one or more competition robots, document their season in an Engineering Notebook, summarized in an Engineering Portfolio, and compete for points in a robot game and for awards in many different judged categories. The team also maintains a team website and social media presence on Instagram.

We meet three times per week after school, and attend at least four FIRST competitions per year. Our meeting times are determined in Sept, based on coach/mentor and student availability.

Probable FTC Competition schedule for 2023-2024 (team competes one full day per weekend, usually Saturdays but not always):

• Weekend of 11/4-11/5
• Weekend of 12/2-12/3
• Weekend of 12/16-12/17
• Weekend of 1/27-1/28 (2024)
