On Saturday, July 8th, 2017 Team 3238’s Safety Team members Kathryn Coryell and Li-Ling Plume set up a First Aid Booth at the Kids ‘R’ Best Fest at Storvik Park in Anacortes.<\/p>\n

Our booth included a safety scavenger hunt where kids had to point out 5 safety related items in the booth, for example, a fire extinguisher or a hard hat. The scavenger hunt prize was a\u00a0piece of candy with the team email on it so that parents of kids can contact us to join the team if they’re interested.<\/p>\n

We also had a safety manual in the booth for people to flip through to learn about our program, and a remote-controlled Lego robot for kids to drive on the table. By the end of the day our only injury was a boy Red Cross had sent over to us.<\/p>\n
