You may rejoice to hear that no disaster has accompanied the commencement of an enterprise which you have regarded with such evil forebodings (Mary Shelley); the enterprise being the construction of the robot.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/frankenbot-week-2\/dsc_0265-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5690\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5690 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0265-300x200.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 875px) 100vw, 875px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0265-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0265-768x512.jpg 768w, http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0265-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" alt=\"\" width=\"875\" height=\"584\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The chassis subsystem has been working hard on creating the base and drive train of the robot, and figuring out where in the world the manipulators are going to mount.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/frankenbot-week-2\/dsc_0061-7\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5692\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5692 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0061-300x200.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 674px) 100vw, 674px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0061-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0061-768x512.jpg 768w, http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0061-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" alt=\"\" width=\"674\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Each manipulator subsystem has been working hard on their specific devices, building all kinds of prototypes and testing them out.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/frankenbot-week-2\/dsc_0108-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5686\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5686 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0108-300x200.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 790px) 100vw, 790px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0108-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0108-768x512.jpg 768w, http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0108-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" alt=\"\" width=\"790\" height=\"527\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And the electronics subsystem is way ahead using last year\u2019s robot to test code and work more on vision processing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/frankenbot-week-2\/dsc_0012-10\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5691\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5691 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0012-300x200.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 668px) 100vw, 668px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0012-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0012-768x512.jpg 768w, http:\/\/team3238.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSC_0012-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" alt=\"\" width=\"668\" height=\"446\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The team looks forward to finishing the first iteration of the robot and starting driver practice within the next week: \u201cHow slowly the time passes here, encompassed as I am by tools and parts! Yet a second step is taken towards my enterprise.
